About Lindsey Bieda
All about the caffeine powered automaton

I’m Lindsey Bieda, a computer science student at the University of Pittsburgh. In elementary school I started designing websites in 3rd grade and continue to do so in my personal time and for freelance work. I first started meddling around with programming in 7th grade with some extremely basic C++ code. In high school I joined the technology club and participated in the
Trinity College Fire Fighting Robot contest. My senior year I became the president of the club. In college I continue programming both in and outside of the classroom.
Recently, I became involved with a project called
XOmB.
Hobbies
When I'm not coding I'm....
Playing videogames, taking
pictures,
reading book after book, cutting out stencils, painting, doodling, writing, listening to
music, watching movies,
drinking tea, or coding some more.
Why Caffeine Powered Automaton?
The reason behind the name
Like many others I am a person that runs on caffeine. My favorite caffeine delivery system is tea followed by various other caffeine filled energy drinks (such as Bawls and Dr. Pepper). If you read this far the automaton portion of the name should be obvious enough.
